Alison Bagnall makes her feature film directing debut with PIGGIE. Alison was co-author of the film BUFFALO 66.

Before collaborating with Vincent Gallo on BUFFALO 66, Alison wrote and directed numerous short films, including ONE NIGHT STAND starring Pasolini's leading man, actor Franco Citti -- featured at the Florence International Festival of Independent Cinema -- and LOVE PERFECT, which screened at festivals at Bellaria and Torino, Italy; in Annecy, France, and was bought by Italian television for broadcast.

Alison is a graduate of Yale University, where she studied Humanities, along with theater and directing. After Yale, she was a directing fellow at the American Film Institute where she made three short films. While at AFI, she also directed an episode of 'Femmes" for the French television channel M6.

After BUFFALO 66, Ms. Bagnall joined up with another actor/writer -- Savannah Haske -- for her next project. That project became PIGGIE, which was shot on location in Delaware County in upstate New York.



In addition to PIGGIE, Alison Dickey produced SKIPPED PARTS for Trimark/Lion's Gate Pictures based on the novel by Tim Sandlin, directed by Tamra Davis. The film stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Brad Renfro, and Mischa Barton. Alison's first feature HOW TO MAKE THE CRUELEST MONTH written and directed by Kip Koenig was chosen to screen in Dramatic Competition at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival. The film featured an ensemble cast including Clea DuVall, Gabriel Mann, Amy Smart, Fred Weller, Mary Kay Place and Dennis Haysbert.

Alison has also produced award winning short features including EVERYBODY CAN FLOAT written and directed by screenwriter Kate Lanier for New Voice Films/Touchstone Pictures.

Working for many years producing music videos and commercials, Alison traveled the U.S. with directors including Matthew Rolston and Herb Ritts. Prior to producing, Alison worked with Sean Penn developing film projects for his production company at Orion Pictures and Columbia Pictures.

She is a gradutate of Vassar College.



Savannah Haske (Fannie) attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, where she earned a B.F.A. in dramatic arts. Upon graduating, she won the prestigious J.S. Seidelman Award for Acting Achievement, the only monied prize given to acting students at NYU.

In 1998 she was chosen as "Best Actress" by the eminent Italian director Nanni Moretti, in the short film category of his 'Sacher Film Festival' in Rome.

Her performance in PIGGIE was highlighted at many festivals including the Hamptons International Film Festival "Rising Stars" showcase leading to her inclusion in the Berlin Film Festival's "Shooting Stars" program and talent campus for up and coming actors.

Since filming PIGGIE, Savannah has starred in several films, including the IFC production of GIRL UNDER THE WAVES directed by Jay Anania, the short film BROKEN (winner of the NY Film Festival and finalist in the Chrysler Million Dollar festival) and WATER directed by Jennifer Houlton. Additionally, Savannah enjoyed a run on the television series THIRD WATCH.

Savannah has performed in the films SHE HATE ME directed by Spike Lee and a starring role in SURVIVING EDEN directed by Greg Pritkin (DUMMY). She also appears in the upcoming film based on THE ONION.



Dean Wareham (Nile) was the singer/songwriter with legendary alternative rock band GALAXIE 500 from 1987 to 1991. This material has been collected in a box set on the Rykodisc label.

Since that time, he has made another five albums with his band LUNA. The last three LUNA albums have all hit the Number 1 spot on the national college radio charts and have received rave reviews in Europe, the United States and Japan. Most recently, Dean has recorded a new album of duets and covers with singer Britta Phillips, titled "L'Avventura". The Britta Phillips and Dean Wareham CD was released on the Jetset label.

Dean has scored the films MR. JEALOUSY and THURSDAY and has contributed songs to I SHOT ANDY WARHOL, IRMA VEP and MYTH OF FINGERPRINTS among others. He recently scored Noah Baumbach's THE SQUID AND THE WHALE to be released this fall.

Dean is a graduate of Harvard University with a B.A. in Social Studies. He briefly studied acting at the Webber Douglas Academy in London.

PIGGIE marks his feature film debut.



Robert (Jim) was most recently seen in HIDE AND SEEK with Robert De Niro, and CONNIE AND CARLA with Nia Vardolos. After appearing in George Clooney's CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND as the unforgettable Inspector Jenks he and Mr. Clooney are collaborating once again on the upcoming GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK.

A graduate of the acting conservatory at SUNY Purchase. Robert first appeared in THE UNBELIEVABLE TRUTH directed by fellow Purchase alum Hal Hartley. Robert has since made several independent films with Hal including SIMPLE MEN, and NO SUCH THING.

He has also appeared many films including Martha Coolidge's RAMBLING ROSE, Oliver Stone's HEAVEN AND EARTH, as well as TOMBSTONE, A FAR OFF PLACE, FIRST LOVE LAST RITES, COPLAND, FLED, and the title role in Stephen King's THINNER.

For HBO, Robert has appeared in FROM EARTH TO THE MOON, A BRIGHT SHINING LIE, SEX IN THE CITY, OZ and the THE SOPRANOS. Robert performs recurring roles in RESCUE ME, LAW AND ORDER,and SVU. He also will appear in the upcoming Parkey Posey starrer THE OH IN OHIO.
